There Is Hope

There is something very intimate about lighting a candle, but especially when it is for the purpose of a spell. I believe in practising magic for the good of all and harm to none and I believe in karma, in this life or the next. I believe in spirits and reincarnation and I believe that spells are asking for help from the netherworlds and the unseen, for the assistance of loved ones and soul ties and the all expansive universe. Candles feel a lot like portals to the untouchable and every time I light a candle, it is usully with the underlying intent of hope.
