This painting was inspired by a fortune cookie I received that said “Be prepared for the truth”. It legitimately haunted me for months and I thought that someone was hiding a big secret from me and made me really paranoid like I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. 

Nothing ever really came from that, but ultimately, the truth will set you free and there is not point being scared of that.

Just like everything else in life, all of my artwork is open to interpretation. If you see or feel something different, you were meant to.
