"But it's a full moon tonight, all the weirdos are out!" is my all time favourite line in hocus pocus, because in an unrealistc moving about three resurrected witches sucking the youth out of everyone until their souls have completely left their bodies, it's still a reasonable statement. Weird things DO happen on full moons! The moon controls the tides; water holds memory and we are made of 60% water. Ask any person in the medical field; anyone who works at a hospital knows when it's a full moon because everything goes haywire. 

This movie is iconic of course, but I wonder what it brings up for you? Nostalgia? A deep love of halloween? Magic in the ordinary?
