This piece began as a classic oil painting, capturing a serene and introspective moment with expressive brushstrokes and a focus on contrast and depth. In an act of artistic collaboration and freedom, I invited my children to reimagine the piece using vibrant oil sticks, allowing their uninhibited creativity to overlay my structured foundation. The result is a dialogue between control and chaos, discipline and play—a visual exploration of vulnerability and expression.
