I painted a lot of artwork in Nova Scotia but this piece was by far my favourite. After biking down to Halifax Harbour I sat down on the boardwalk and painted George’s Lighthouse, but added a little feminine flair. This painting represents the beauty of the area, and the ways in which we are all connected. It acknowledges the newness that forms within our souls when we travel and experience what life has to offer.
