SHOP BY SERIES
My mixed media art is a vibrant, expressive dance of colour and intricate line work. I use acrylic markers, water-based spray paint, acrylic paints, and finish all of my paintings in oils. I reuse eco-house solvents and often recycle canvases to reduce my ecological footprint. Each piece is completed with thousands of tiny dots applied with a script brush, creating a unique effect as the viewer approaches the piece. My process is intuitive, emotional, and layered, inviting you to connect deeply with each work.
“Art never really mattered or ‘spoke to me’,that is, until I saw Angela's mixed media art. It was so different from others, and I just couldn't get it out of my head. When I looked at it, it invoked these emotions/feelings that I had never felt before, but I knew I had to have it because of those feelings. When I changed careers a few years ago, I promised myself that when I was able to, I would reward my hard work with one of her beautiful art pieces. I continued to monitor her website to make sure it was still while working and saving. The day I was able to purchase it was one of the best days of my life. It hangs on my wall as a reminder of all the hard work, that not only I put in to be able to have something so beautiful in my home, but of all the hard work and love Anglea puts into every piece. I have numerous pieces of Angela's art now and will continue to add to my collection.”
