Sabrina The Teenage Witch was my favourite part of the T.G.I.F. (Thank God It's Friday) tv line up that aired in 1996 and ran until 2003, and every single Friday, you better believe that I was SAT for this show. She had everything I wanted, a talking cat, and magical powers to deal witch mean girls like Libby, a loyal BFF and a boyfriend who adored her for exactly who she was... or at least, the mortal side of her that she showed him.
Salem was a diva who had a comment about everything. The sassiness of this clip from the show is everything to me. Sabrina's world felt like home to me. Maximalist fashion, cheesy one-liners and heart-centered navigation. This sitcom resonated so deeply with who I felt I was in my adolescence, and I felt very seen by her character, just by watching her tackle every problem with a little finger point of magic.
Can you relate?
