Witches have always existed in fairytales, tall tales and in history books but witches have always existed period. They never went away. They were midwives, and herbalists, they were healers and seers. To me, witches are not just fables, or the women they burned in Salem. Everyday witches are astrolgers, tarot readers, reiki masters, manifesting creatives and intuitive women. I think every woman has a little witchiness in them, whether that manifests as rebellion, femininsm, spellwork or drinking moonwater, all women are magical. All of us have the capability of bringing forth life and mastering our intuition. Women are stronger in numbers, and the pull of a coven leads to divine entanglement. This is a portrait of you, and of me, and of every witch who leans into her whimsical nature.
